We are called for this.

I Corinthians 6:1-3. “If any of you has a dispute with another, do you dare to take it before the ungodly for judgment instead of before the Lord’s people? 2 Or do you not know that the Lord’s people will judge the world? And if you are to judge the world, are you not competent to judge trivial cases? 3 Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life!”

When we are going about our daily tasks let us remember that according to I Corinthians 6:1-3 we will judge angels. What that means is that we will be elevated to a status that we don’t have now. We are the body of Christ and he is the head and because of this we will share in his ruling of the world. He will use us for his rule and judgment.

So let’s remember that when we are going about our daily lives we are preparing ourselves for our future! Let’s do all for Christ now so that when our future continues with Christ, we will be prepared to do his will. Paul is saying to the Corinthian’s that they must learn to rule and judge between each other so that they can be prepared for what will be given to them in the future.

I Peter 2:21, “To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.”  We are called to endure for doing good in this life.  God is gracious!  And it is true that we are running a race to win!  That should pervade all our actions and thoughts through out each day.

  1. Thank you for this encouragement to keep running strong and living every moment for Jesus! I often remember, this time is limited and I want to be a blessing to Him. Jesus, keep me close! Help me live for you as much as possible! God bless you!
